Thanks to Gramophone, you can keep your golf game sharp even when the cold is nipping at your nose. Join us on Saturday, December 17th, from 10am–2pm in our golf simulator for drinks, lessons, and great conversations about the game. Assistant Pro Nate Carpenter will be offering free instruction, and nationally renowned golf writer Kevin Van Valkenburg will be on hand to share insights and answer all your questions about life on the links.

We will be raffling off a putter, a round at Clifton Park for a foursome, polos and more great swag. So join us for a fun day of golfing.

Nate Carpenter is the Assistant Golf Professional at Clifton Park Golf Course, known for his approachable teaching style, strong game knowledge, and passion for player development. He supports daily operations, provides instruction, and helps run leagues and tournaments, contributing to a welcoming and well-managed experience for golfers of all skill levels.

Kevin Van Valkenburg

Kevin Van Valkenburg is the newly appointed Director of Content at Fried Egg Golf (FEG), having joined the team in September 2025. He is a veteran golf journalist who previously spent over a decade writing for ESPN (both ESPN.com and ESPN the Magazine) and earlier in his career worked at The Baltimore Sun. Between 2023 and mid-2025, he served as Editorial Director for No Laying Up, a prominent digital golf-media outlet.
